Fire breaks out in battery factory in China

A large fire broke out in a battery factory in northwestern China.

Thick black smoke was seen rising from the building in Xi’an City, Shaanxi province on November 25 morning as multiple firetrucks tried to douse the flames.

The Xi’an Fire Department said the open fire had been extinguished at around 1:30 PM. They added that there were no casualties, while property damage is being determined.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
