Three people died when a speeding car crashed into a heavy truck at an intersection in northeastern China.
CCTV footage recorded in Dandong City, Liaoning province on November 25 shows a black car accelerating and overtaking a white van before smashing into a truck and being dragged across the road. Boxes of the truck’s cargo spilled onto the asphalt from the impact.
Police said two of the black car’s passengers were killed on the spot while the third died during rescue operations. Preliminary investigations found that the two vehicles did not slow down while approaching the intersection.
