This is the shocking moment a car flipped over after its driver mistakenly pressed the accelerator in southeastern China.
CCTV footage recorded in Zhongshan City, Guangdong province on November 27 shows the black vehicle making a U-turn before slamming into a flight of stairs and shocking customers of a tea shop.
Luckily, the passengers were wearing seatbelts and made it out of the car safely.
The driver named Rong said she was taking her husband to work when the incident happened. She added that she mistakenly used the accelerator instead of braking, and that she had never driven an automatic car before.
Rong’s husband lost a tooth, but both of them did not suffer any major injuries.
