A pharmacy ceiling collapsed when a boy ran across its roof while chasing after a cat in southern China.
CCTV footage taken in Baise City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on November 27 shows the pharmacy clerk looking up at the suspended ceiling moments before the little boy fell through it.
The child hung onto a fluorescent light fixture, but was knocked to the ground by a falling panel. He was seen later standing on his feet and leaving the store while brushing dust off his head.
Reports said the boy was following a cat when the incident occurred. Luckily, he wasn’t seriously injured.
