Man headbutts through ice on car window after blizzard in northeastern China

This is the moment a driver used his head to smash through a slab of ice that had formed on his car window in northeastern China.

Video taken during the freezing winter wearther in Harbin City in the province of Heilongjiang on November 8 shows the man rolling down his window before headbutting through the thin layer of ice.

Parts of northern China were hit by record snowfall early November, disrupting public transportation and sparking concerns over an unreliable power supply throughout winter. A cold front moving from west to east across the country caused temperatures to plummet by as much as 14 degrees.

State media said at least one person has died in Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia.

Local media said the snowfall was the worst to hit northern China since 1951.
