Water in dispenser shakes as magnitude 5.3 quake rocks the Philippines

A magnitude 5.3 earthquake struck Batangas province in the Philippines on Monday afternoon December 13.

Footage shows water inside a dispenser shaking from the quake which was felt in Quezon City in the capital Manila.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck at a depth of 99 kilometres near Calatagan municipality at 5:12 PM local time.

An intensity of III, characterised as ‘weak,’ was felt in Quezon City, while the tremors were recorded at intensity II or ‘slightly felt’ in nearby Zambales province.
