This is the moment a horse carriage rear-ended a car in China.
Footage captured in Jining City, Shandong province on December 11 shows the horse trying to avoid a collision, but sliding forward on the slippery road. It hit a black car and damaged its rear lights.
The car owner Mr. Song said: ‘I was turning left at the time and slowed down to avoid a cyclist in front of me.
‘I heard a click in the car and realised I might have been hit by the carriage behind me.’
The horse was able to get up immediately, and no one was injured from the incident.
Horse-drawn carriages are a local tourist feature in Qufu City in Shandong. The old-fashioned vehicles can normally be seen around the area as tourists ride them to go sightseeing.
