A car bounced on a road after driving across an open manhole in China.
Dashcam video captured in Chengdu City in Sichuan province on December 18 shows the vehicle hurtling across the street and almost tipping over onto its side. It bounced several times before hitting a roadside post.
The car’s driver said: ‘I was so scared at the time. The construction manhole was open and the tires of the car were stuck inside. When it broke free, the force was so strong that the car flew about four to five metres away.’
No injuries were reported from the incident. Traffic police arrived later to deal with clean-up.
