Drones form giant QR code for anti-fraud campaign in China

Thousands of drones formed a giant QR code for an anti-fraud campaign in China.

The flying machines took to the skies in Kunming City in Yunnan province on December 17 to create the QR code, which was part of the local public security’s advisory against telecommunication network fraud.

Kunming Police said: ‘The renting and selling of telephone and bank cards provides a hotbed for fraud on communication networks.

‘Citizens should increase their awareness of the laws and pay attention to their own information security. Do not rent, sell, lend, or buy bank cards and online payment accounts, and do not participate in any form of money laundering.’
