Groups of delivery workers crowded around a dumpling shop in China as orders for the snacks soared during the winter solstice.
Video captured in Zhengzhou City in the province of Henan on December 12 shows a long queue of delivery riders waiting for their orders outside the dumpling shop.
The winter tradition of eating dumplings is believed to stem from the story of Zhang Zhongjing, an ancient Chinese medical practitioner who was said to have handed out dumplings filled with meat and peppers to freezing villagers to improve their health.
