This is the bizarre moment a pet cat was found sleeping in an uncomfortable position – making the owner worried that he had died.
The one-year-old moggy named Gigi was found with his head hanging off the side of a table at the family home in San Jose, Negros Oriental province, the Philippines on November 21.
Caring owner Marimel Ramirez was sent into a panic when Gigi did not respond to being prodded. Thankfully he was just in a deep slumber and after a minute he was roused into life.
Relieved Marimel said: ‘Little Gigi tricked me. He pranked me and I believed he was dead. Thankfully he’s fine and he’s just a lazy little cheeky cat.’
