Creative pensioner sculpts miniature high-speed rail train out of snow

A creative pensioner sculpted a miniature replica of a high-speed rail train out of snow.

Footage filmed in Jiamusi City in Heilongjiang province on January 4 shows the Hexie train replica coming out of a tunnel made of a mound of snow. The sculpture also included detailed engravings of windows and markings on the tiny train coaches.

The man named Chen, 70, said he didn’t want to waste snow, and he wanted to create art to welcome the new year. He added that he thought of making something modern now that China has become a more developed country.

The eight-metre miniature train reportedly took about five days to finish, but he is still engraving the finishing touches.
