A snake slithered into a family’s home while a baby was lying on the floor.
Shocking CCTV shows the reptile creeping across the mat placed in front of the family’s home in Udon Thani province, northeastern Thailand on December 27.
The terrified parents could be seen carrying their toddler and baby up from the ground to prevent them from getting bitten by the snake.
The girl’s mother Wijitta Srichai said: ‘It happened so fast. It was scary but fortunately it did not hurt anybody.’
Wijitta said nobody knew what kind of snake it was and when the emergency services animal handlers arrived, the snake had already disappeared.
