Wild elephant stopped by rangers to allow cars on mountain road

This is the moment a wild elephant was stopped by a national park officer to allow traffic to pass along a mountain road.

The jumbo was seen walking along a forest road and blocking one lane in Nakhon Nayok province, Thailand on December 22.

Park rangers then stepped in to help ease the flow of motorists in the area while keeping the animal calm as it searched for food.

The jumbo then allowed the ranger to do his work and stood a few metres behind waiting for the vehicles to pass.
