Wild otters rescued after falling into well in Thailand

This is the heartwarming moment three wild otters were rescued after falling into a well in Thailand.

Praiphat Tipparat was walking in her backyard when she heard a strange sound coming from the well in Surat Thani province on December 30.

Curious Praiphat followed the sound and saw an otter standing on the well. She took a closer look and was surprised to discover two other otters trapped inside.

She took long pieces of wood from her backyard and propped them against the well’s inner walls, allowing the animals to climb up to safety. Footage shows the otters running free the moment they exited the well.

Pariphat said: ‘They all ran away really fast after reaching the ground. I’m glad I was there to rescue them before it was too late.’
