This is the strange moment an SUV drove on a footbridge and damaged its steps in China.
The vehicle was seen driving across the empty overpass in the city of Duyun in Guizhou province on January 15.
The car then mafe its way down the narrow staircase, scraping its sides on the guardrails and leaving the steps partially damaged in its wake. It landed on the sidewalk with a thud before merging on the road.
A witness said: ‘My family and I were walking home when we passed the overpass and saw the SUV driving on it. It was quite shocking.’
Police have reportedly found the driver and his vehicle on January 16. He has been arrested while an investigation into his actions is underway.
